FabScraps Mini Album C50 summer collection (sneak Peek)

 

For This Mini Album You Will Need

• FabScraps Summer Colection C50
• Die cut Journal book MC50
• DC 50 001 album
• DC50018 Beach time
• DC50009 lifesaver
• Brown ink ,white kraft ink
• foam tape
• Vanilla and kraft cardstock
• Seam binding washi tape from my stash.

Instructions

1. Cover pages of album in range of C50 Summer collection.

2. Distress all edges of pages and then ink all edges with the brown ink.

Front cover : After chipboard has been covered with C50004 cut a 6 by 6 square of C50005 and distress and edge square. then cut a 5 by 5 vanilla cardstock square distress and edge square lay on top of C50005 centered then mount picture in middle of cardstock with edges distressed. Paint DC500018 beach time white and adhere once dry on bottom of picture.then cut small triangle 1 inch in all diferent scraps from paper collection and lay out on a pice of twine and glue down to create own bunting to lay out over cover.

Page 1 : Cover page with C50005 Choose two pictures mount on C50002 and place on page, then add Beach friends MC from journal book ink and distressing before mounting on foam tape on bottom right. Paint DC0009 Lifesaver in red and white, add twine to create texture, add completed lifesaver to right middle next to top mounted picture.

Page 2 : Cover page with C50005 c ut an 1 by 8 inch strip of C50006 lay across middle of page. Cover a 5by 5 square of paper in C50003 then a 4 by 4 in C50002 lay on top of C50003 then mount picture in centre. Add tag and holder from MC50 to bottom right of picture.

Page 3. Cover page with C50001 , use wheel sheet cut at 6 by 4 from MC50 mount picture in center. then cut rectangles 3 by 1.5 then cut one side of rectangles to create tags add dyed seem binding for decoration, place under right side of mounted picture.

Page 4. Cover page C50001 cut a 6 by 4 pice of C50008 distress and ink all edges mount picture, place paper and picture on left side on page on slight angle. place tage and case from MC50 on top right ander place Beac sign from Mc50 distressing and inking all edges and place on foam tape.place on bottom of placed tage and case slightly over hanging on picture.

Page 5. Cover page C50006 Cut light house out of paper and mount with foam tape to add hieght, cut 4, 6 by 6 kraft matts join by top left corner with a brad allowing matts to swivel addhere each matt with a 4 by 4 sqaure of C50 collection paper mount picture on each matt in centre of matt, slide completed matts behind raised lighthouse on bottom right.

Page 6. Cover Page C50003 Cut piece of MC50 6 by 4 mount picture in centre, then add tag and cover to bottom left add seam binding to top of tag,

Page 7 Cover page C50005 page finished as is back page.

Add 3 colours of seam binding torings and two pieces of washi tape one to each ring folded and a fish tale cut in each piece. then add some twine. add chain with charms on to rings, one charm is an accetate piece covered in C50006 .

FabScraps C50 Summer Collection (sneak peekproject)

Beach wallet foldout : By Geordie Morgan

For This Foldout You Will Need

• FabScraps summer Collection paper range: C50
• DC50015 Anchor
• MC50 collection tags and cut outs
• seam binding
• bakers twine, eyelets x2
• various paint and mist from stash.

Instructions

1. You will need one piece of C50004, u will cut score at 2 and 7 inches top to bottom,then 4 and 8 across creating 9 pannels. Cut the top right and top left pannels leaving one 4 by 2 pannel which will create your flap over.

2. You then choose and cut pictures to place on pannels , cut 7 pictures to fit pannels and then mounted them with a small amount of paper showing behind each picture, using paper from the collection C50

3. Then in empty pannels you will place tags from the MC50 tags seam binding is then added to top of tags and journaling is added on tags.

The 12 by 12 sheeet then folds up from the bottom to the top,from the outside right to left to right and then the flap closes over top, an eyelet is added to top pannel and middle bottom pannel and bakers twine is used for closure. This is a quick simple and easy to do project.

Your project is now complete.

 

SNEAK PEEK C50 Summer Collection

FabScraps C50 summer collection shadow box

For This Shadow box u will need You Will Need

• FabScraps Summer Colection C50

• DC50004 lighthouse
• DC50025 fun in the sun
• DC50013 beach chair umbrella
• DC50014 seagulls
• DC50015 anchor
• Brown ink, black ink,white kraft ink, red ink, gesso, blue ink, glitter

• fishing net, shells from my stash.

Instructions

1. Paint shadow box with white sanding edges to give an worn look.

2. Cover front edges and inside back with C50007

3. Mix blue paint with gesso and glitter for textured paint, paint on to back cover to create texture to ocean on paper.

4. Create 2 small boxes 8 by 12 scoring at 2 inches to fold and createboxlike shapes to make houses, then cut retangles to fold and create roof using C50002 and C50006 then cut smal contrasting regtangles to create doors.

5. Glue houses to inside flat of shadow box, paint DC50013 white and adhere C50 003 to chair and umbrella , then adhere in between both houses.

6. Ink DC0025 Fun in the sun in black ink and adhere to front bottom left

7. Adhere netting to bottom right and across front, also draping top right and inside top left.

8. Paint DC50004 lighthouse (smaller one) with white and red ink, adhere onto netting on top left then add shells to bottom of lighthouse.

9. Paint DC50015 Anchor in white

This project is now completed.

 

FabScraps Altered Letter G

For This Altered Letter You Will Need

• FabScraps Rustic Collection C48-004
• MCDC03 FabScrap flower from previous collection.
• Lace, brown ink,various flowers from stash
• Gold button for inside flower
• Bling and buckles and crystals for decoration.
• Craft,letter from dollar store

Instructions

1. Covered round Craft dollar store box with C48 Rustic collection

2.Inked all edges of bottom with brown ink

3. Press out flowers from MCDC03 and completed flowers as per directions, adding gold button as center

4.Add Lace to the letter,

5. Glue large FabScrap flower to bottom of letter.

6. Glue various flowers to letter to create a spray.

project completed this letter can be made with any collection of the roses or press out flower collections .

Great outdoors FabScraps Canvas

 

 

The Great Outdoors Canvas

For This Canvas You Will Need

• FabScraps C48 Rustic Collection
• The Great Outdoors DC48015
• Wood Trees DC48008
• Ants DC48014
• MC48001 Die Cut Journal book
• Sticker ST48002
• Trim from stash
• Dark drown Ink
• various paint and mist from stash
• Brown cardstock
• Flower from my stash.
• Stencil used for background
• 14 by 14 Canvas

Instructions

1. Prep canvas and paint base with vintage white

2. paint background with two shades of brown in a large brush strokes leaving marks until u are happy with the coverage.

3. .Once dry ink around edges with a stencils over lapping to create depth

4. use one full sheet of C48007 distress edges and ink all edges, lay on centre of canvas

5. Then cut C48 008 11 by 11 distress all edges and ink all edges and centre on top of C48007

6. Cut a photo matt out of brown cardstock 6 by 10 and matt pictures and lay on C48008, 2 inches from top

7. On top of the photo matt a piece of C48 008 is cut 10 in and punched bottom edge with a border punch of choice, this is then layered with a brown trim.

8. Then take DC48015,008and 014 and push into a brown ink pad dying the pieces dark brown, Once dry spray the trees with a mist, to add sparkle.

9. The tress are then added to bottom left corner of the matted pictures along with the title, then flower is added and ST48 placed under flower on corner of 12 by 12 sheet.

10.The ants are added to top of picture matt in a ascending pattern as if they are climbing.

11. Then on the bottom right hand corner dice cut from MC48 is used for hidden Journaling.

The project is now complete

FabScraps Trinket Box

 

For This Trinket Box You Will Need

• FabScraps Victoria Collection paper range: C49 003/004 002/005/007 C38 vintage collection
• MCDC03 victoria roses
• Lace, brown ink, flat backed pearls
• Pearls for inside flowers
• Craft round box from dollar store

Instructions

1. Covered round Craft dollar store box with C38 vintage collection

2. Inked all edges of bottom and lid with brown ink

3. Press out flowers from MCDC03 and completed flowers as per directions, adding pearls as centers

4. Add Lace to lid outside edge, then add flat backed trim to lace.

5. Glue four large flowers back to back to create a topper on top of round box.

6. Glue 2 medium and two small flowers in the gaps.

7. To complete place a large flower on top

project completed this box can be made with any collection of the roses or press out flower collections .

FabScraps Carousel Mini album

For This Mini Album You Will Need

• FabScraps Victoria Collection paper range: C49
• Sticker from ST49 001/02
• Die cut Journal book MC49 001
• Victoria roses MC DC Victoria Roses
• DC49 002 Carousel Album
• DC49 005 Carousel
• DC49010 Double heart swirl Frame
• Crackle medium
• Brown ink ,white kraft ink
• Pearl cardstock A4 sheet, black cardstock A4 sheet
• one manila folder
• A choched square from stash
• Flowers, lace, seam binding paint and mists from my stash.

Instructions

1. Paint the cover of DC49002 and DC49 005 in antique white paint front and back sides

2. Apply crackle medium to both painted items

3. Cover remainder of pages of album in range of C49 Victoria collection.

4. Distress all edges of pages and then ink all edges with the brown ink.

5. Add lace to all left side of pages front and back to cover where rings will thread through pre cut holes.

 

6.Front cover : After both chipboard cover and carousel has been painted and cracked rub brown in into all cracks and edges to further aged look. Then place the second single carousel on top of the first using foam tape to give a raised effect. Then colour some lace to pink and cover top of carousel to crete layers. Create a rose out of MCDC Victoria roses to place on top of carousel. Then scraps from paper are cut and placed on the saddles and the bridles of the horses of the carousel, pearls are place on horses to create eyes. Coloured seem binding is added to scored cover to add texture and to re-enforce cover. Inside cover remains painted white no added embellishments.

 

7. Page 1 : An acetate frame is created with a clear sheet and brown ink for a picture to slide behind, on the bottom left corner a rolled flower from MCDC is added along with flowers from my stash. On the bottom right a Die cut from MC49 001 is added and also in the top left hand corner.

 

8. Page 2 : A 20cm by 20cm pearl card stock cardstock is scored at 5cm each side and folded to meet the middle paper from teh collection is then added to front in 2.5cm by 18cm. The card is then punched 4 holes each side and eyelets are added the seem binding is threaded through holes to make it look laced, creating a pocket. inside pocket is a tag measuring 10cm by 20cm which is covered by paper collection both sides and inked before attaching on tag. On the left hand side 3 flowers from my stash are added.

 

 

9. Page 3. A black piece of card stock measuring 22cm by 2cm is punched by a doubled sided punch and glued down to page on either end creating a band for a photo mat to be place behind band the mat is also black card stock and measures 18cm by 12cm and is covered in the paper C49002 the measurement of the paper to cover the matt is 18cm by 11 all edges are inked and then matted to black cardstock. Pearls are then added to the band.

10. Page 4. A crochet square from my stash is added to this page gluing down only corners so die cuts from MC49 can be slid behind . In bottom hand corner flowers and a button from my stash is added.

 

11. Page 5 Pearl cardstock is used again 20cm by 15cm and then scored either side at 5cm and folded in to the middle , C49 004 is add to the front panels and inside the opening the frouunt panels measuring 4cm by 13 and inside 10cm by 14 all edges ink before adhering. Then seam binding is tied round and in front for closure. Two paper doily heart are inked and sprayed before adhering to paper and then pearl item is glued over top. On right hand side of page die cut is added from MC49 the pink ruler.

 

12 Page 6 DC49 Double Heart shirl frame is inked with white craft ink and applied to page. Flat backed pearls are added in spots over frame.

 

 

 

13. Page 7 Lace is added in two layers to create a band , musical notes from St49001 is added to band. small fold out book is slide behind band. The book is created using a manila folder scored and folded in half's and quarters. all sides of folds paper from the collection are inked and added. Creating eight spots for pictures.
